First it goes to Gondwanaland, the primeval continent, in a huge heated tropical hall. Then you will visit all continents and the specific animals. In the Leipzig Zoo you will see animals such as Elephants, giraffes, lions and rhinos. All enclosures can be viewed from several locations.

The circular walk in the zoo feels like walking through a huge forest and jungle because everything has really overgrown. As a result, the masses of visitors are not noticeable and it will be relaxed. You will plan 1-2 days for the tour if you really want to see everything.

Leipzig Zoo is really beautiful for children. Only the number of playgrounds is really small. About halfway through the tour is a large playground with shops where you can buy food.
